Microscopic examination of gas-in-fluid dispersions.
Thanks to the FOAM oil aeration test rig flucon customers can test their mechanical components or oil with a quantifiable aeration level. In order to produce a stable, transportable air/oil mixture the gas should be dispersed homogenously, in bubbles of minimum diameters.
Of course the exact gas concentration of the aerated oil is always known due to the integrated CG sensor of the FOAM, but now a digital microscope is added to the setup to find out more about the physical form of the entrained air within the two-phase mixture. Exemplary investigations are then made on aerated transmission fluid.

Over the last several years we have been pushing the development of a quantifiable way to enrich the gas concentration in fluids. This lead to a unique technical procedure and to the Flucon Oil Aeration Machine FOAM, which we have been selling to customers from all around the world for their advanced aeration testing.

We’re proud to announce that from the 8th to the 10th of October 2018 we will present some of our products at the 27th Aachen Colloquium, the renowned trade fair and specialist event for vehicle and engine technology in Germany.

Good news for our product development: flucon’s latest research project will receive finacial support from ZIM, a program of the Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy specially designed to promote innovational projects in medium-sized enterprises.
The result of our efforts will hopefully be available soon in the form of an innovative device that will be of valuable assistance whenever problems arise in machine systems and components due to oil aeration.
