Precision in dielectric testing requires accurate temperature control.

Perfect temperature – precise measurement thanks to a strong partnership.

When our long-standing partner JULABO writes about precise temperature control technology, we at flucon naturally prick up our ears – after all, their high-precision temperature control devices have been an integral part of our own measurement systems for many years. Their current article hits the mark: If you want to measure precisely, you need to control the temperature with pinpoint accuracy.

Because, especially in the electrical characterization of lubricants – for example, through conductivity measurements or dielectric spectroscopy – temperature often determines the meaningfulness of the results. Even the smallest deviations can cause significant differences in the measurement results. For us at flucon, it’s clear: Temperature control is not an accessory – it is the heart of our measurement technology.

Taking the Dual Approach to Minnesota.

flucon team attends the STLE Annual Meeting in the USA.

The annual meeting of the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers took place from May 19 to 23. Over 1,200 experts in tribology and lubrication technology gathered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to discuss the latest developments and challenges in their industries.

As a new member of STLE, our team was keen to attend the 78th edition of the renowned event in the north-east of the USA. flucon CTO Simon Hausner also gave a presentation on our Dual Approach to electrical lubricant testing.

Our 2023 schedule.

Outlook for the new year: flucon GmbH travels to nextlub and VDI Symposium.

This year, our team is once again on the road to present flucon’s latest developments.

Among others, Josephine Klingebiel and André Heine will present our dual approach to electrical fluid characterization with two keynotes.

In April, the flucon team will travel to Düsseldorf to exhibit at nextlub. In June, we will then be guests in Schweinfurt at the 15th Annual VDI Symposium.

Electronic engineer of the future.

Saad Jmar to become flucon’s new trainee with Jascha Schwarz as supervisor.

On the first of September, a new phase of life begins for Saad Jmar. The 24-year-old Moroccan immigrated to Germany only a few days ago as part of an accelerated skilled worker procedure and is now starting his apprenticeship as an electronic engineer for devices and systems at flucon.

Where bearing guys (and gals) meet.

The flucon team visits Würzburg.

On July 5 and 6, Bearing World 2022 took place in beautiful Würzburg. Every year, experts from the fields of rolling and plain bearing technology as well as lubricant development come together at the international congress to exchange information on current focal points, innovations and optimization concepts.

This year, Josephine Klingebiel was one of our speakers in Würzburg, reporting on the latest findings from experiments with targeted current damage and bearing shell surface investigations.
